We offer a 10% discount for students and pensioners.
Subscribers of Filharmonia Hungary’s Tisza and Organ series are entitled to a 20% discount on tickets for concerts organized by Filharmonia Hungary in any city across the country. The discount applies to one ticket per subscription, per concert.
The individual discounts cannot be combined.

In 2027, the world commemorates the 200th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven’s death. We remember a solitary freedom fighter who struggled throughout his life to find harmony with his surroundings, whose tragic fate deprived him of precisely what he had devoted his life to, and who nevertheless fought uncompromisingly for humanity, human and artistic freedom, against oppression and lifeless conventions, and for the breaking down of boundaries. This solitary warrior set an example that fundamentally transformed the relationship among society, art, and the artist, making him, even 200 years after his death, one of the most recognized composers in history. During this season, András Keller and Concerto Budapest will perform all of Beethoven’s orchestral works. Their April concert in Miskolc features three works that perfectly embody the composer’s heroic spirit: like Prometheus, Beethoven sought to bring fire to humanity and accepted every suffering to achieve this goal. It is therefore no coincidence that he composed The Creatures of Prometheus, whose overture already places humanity’s quest for light within a mythological context. The First Symphony is no less heroic: although it still speaks partly in the language of late Haydn, its ideas and inner fire already belong unmistakably to Beethoven’s world. The Seventh Symphony reflects both the losses of a life’s journey and the approach of triumph. Its slow movement is among Beethoven’s most fragile and poignant creations, while its outer movements are driven by boundless vitality and the unwavering conviction of reaching the goal.
