The Baroque composers, who were often also violin virtuosos, show in their works their closeness to the instrument, their desire to experiment... In many compositions we encounter written improvisations. The masterclass can focus on Italian and Austrian violin sonatas - including in scordatura - and is a search for one's own ability to read and play the music in a new way, connected to the instrument.
